Eightfold Splendor

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is hosting the special exhibition “Eightfold Splendor: Regions Filled with K” on the first floor of Cheongwadae Sarangchae from this month through December. The exhibition begins with the question, “What are the roots of the K we talk about?” Through regional content exhibits and media art, it presents in a multidimensional way how Korea’s history, culture and arts, and the unique cultural assets of its regions have developed into and expanded as K-content. In particular, it focuses on highlighting how the cultural assets accumulated across Korea’s diverse regions have become the foundation of today’s K-culture.
