Gwangalli Eobang Festival (광안리어방축제)
January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026Overview
The Gwangalli M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show, held since 2022, uses the “M” to represent “Marvelous,” meaning amazing and wondrous. It expresses the wonder and mystery that the lights emitted by the drones create for visitors to Gwangalli as they blend with the night view of Gwangan Bridge, a landmark of Busan. The show is presented twice every Saturday evening for approximately 12 minutes (19:00 and 21:00 from October to February in winter; 20:00 and 22:00 from March to September in summer), and can be viewed from anywhere along Gwangalli Beach. In addition to regular performances featuring 1,100 drones each week, drone shows of various scales are held, with up to 3,000 drones used for occasions such as countdown events, Seollal, and Chuseok. * The performance schedule may change depending on weather conditions and other circumstances.
