The Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo is a dinosaur-themed festival held at Danghangpo Tourist Site in Hoehwa-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, Republic of Korea. Goseong-gun is widely known as one of the world’s three major sites of dinosaur footprint fossils. The expo has been held since 2006 to highlight the value of dinosaur fossils of various sizes discovered in different areas and promote the tourism industry. The event venue, Danghangpo Tourist Site, consists of the Dinosaur Theme Zone and the Admiral Yi Sun-sin Theme Zone, and features outdoor theme parks with a coastal walking trail, hiking trails, and a dinosaur footprint exploration trail. The expo is hosted by Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and as of 2026, it is operated by the Goseong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The 2026 expo marks its 10th edition and 20th anniversary, and is held under the theme “An Exciting Adventure with Dinosaurs.” Through a variety of exhibitions, hands-on programs, and performances at each edition, it has established itself as one of Korea’s leading dinosaur-themed festivals.
